Congrats to Alan Smith - Springfield Ramblers, who played in Goal for Rep of Ireland in their 4-1 win over Latvia (Report) in the inaugural U-15 Midlands quadrangular tournament on Feb 12th in Athlone:

The Cobh native made a big impression while playing for the Ireland development squad during the summer Hibernia Cup tournament. His height and agility make him a real prospect, having already drawn the attention of many Cross Channel Clubs like Blackburn, Aston Villa & Nott's Forrest.
