CASHMANS BOOKMAKERS SPONSORSHIP OF THE CORK
BRANCH ISRS 2007 TO 2012.
The Cork Branch of the Irish Soccer Referees Society are delighted to get such a
major sponsorship deal from Cashmans Bookmakers� to sponsor the Branch over the
next 5 years.
The sponsorship will enable the Branch to kit out the existing 92 Referees from
head to toe with tops, shorts, socks and training tops.
We have also recruited a number of new referees this year and they also will be
kitted out with the new gear, this is also an incentive for new comers to the
Branch as the Referees gear is expensive and is hard to come by, but the
sponsorship this will the Branch for the first time to kit out the entire
membership.
Training equipment such as overhead projectors and other equipment can be
purchased for Laws of the Game to aid the development of Refereeing in general;
this will be greatly enhanced by the sponsorship deal.
President of the ISRS Mr. Joe O'Brien sent on a message of support and stated
this is the largest sponsorship of any branch of the Society in the Country and
has set a bench mark for all to follow
He was particularly pleased that the finance will go into the Branch for
development of Referees.
He thanked Paul Cashman for there recognition of the role of Referees in
football and also Tony O Sullivan of Umbro for supplying an excellent package in
the gear to the Branch.
The Branch Committee would like to thank all the people involved in putting the
sponsorship deal together and by doing so it will ensure the Cork Branch will be
in a very strong position to promote and develop the already High standard
within Cork Refereeing.

continue for the betterment of local football and the promotion of the men
