Hi Gents.
Like the rest of ye, I am still in state of disbelief and shock of the news this morning of the sudden and sad passing of Pat McAuliffe RIP, a true friend colleague a gentleman and a legend.
As a mark of respect our branch meeting scheduled for next Monday night (8th April) is cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date. The FAINet will still take place at 7pm in Blackpool so if you are attending this please confirm with Eddie Foley.
Could I also please request that members attending both the removal and funeral do so in branch shirt and tie, as we hope with the family’s permission to form a guard of honour for Pat. So I ask all that can to attend in numbers please.
Finally I want to direct that all referees observe a minutes silence before ALL games at all levels up to and including next Monday night’s games. Thank you all for your support and cooperation at this sad time.
Again on your behalf I extend the Cork Branch of the ISRS sympathy and condolences to Pat’s family at this time.
