Referees Beginner Course

October 3, 2020

The FAI Referees Department are pleased to confirm the date & venue for a Referees Beginner Course which will take place in Cork in November 2020.

Refereeing is a challenging and very rewarding past time. Whether your ambition is to referee at the World Cup finals or officiate in your local league this course is the 1st step towards reaching that goal and is an ideal opportunity for former players to remain within the game.

The course is open to anyone over the age of 16 and all you need is enthusiasm, commitment, and a willingness to learn.

The course details are as follows:

Venue: The Midleton Park Hotel, Old Cork Road, Midleton, Co. Cork

Date: Saturday 7th November 2020 Time: 9am – 5pm

The fee for the course is €75 and a minimum number of 10 participants will be required for the course to proceed.

The course is split into two parts: an online module with three assessments and a one-day practical session.

For further information on the Football Association of Ireland Referee Beginners Course programme contact the Referees Department by phone: 01 8999536 or Email: referees@fai.ie
