It’s with a very heavy heart and great sadness that we need to inform all that our friends and colleagues that Mr Keith Spoonley recently passed away. Keith was an outstanding member of the Cork Branch and will be a great loss to all of us.
Our sincere condolences go out to Keith’s family at this sad time.

Spoonley (Cork and Wales) on November 24th 2019 peacefully at the Cork University Hospital, Keith, Mardyke, Cork (late F.M.C. and Irish Soccer Referees Society Cork Branch); beloved husband of Margaret (nee Newman), loving father of Dale, Dawn and Darren and loving grandfather of Emma, Abbi, Olan, Dylan and Cian. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, grandchildren, sister Heather, nephews, daughters-in-law Jackie and Stacey, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives and friends.
Burial took place privately in St Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock, at his own request.
Keith was honored last March when he picked up a special merit award for his contribution to soccer over a period of 50 years at a special awards ceremony.
